Dr. Sue Dobbs joins Dr. Susan Widick as Associate Dentist
We’re excited to announce the addition of Dr. Sue Dobbs to our team as an Associate Dentist.
Dr. Dobbs holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City and a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Missouri. She has extensive experience in the dental profession in the greater Kansas City area, most recently as a staff dentist at Truman Medical Center Lakewood Dental Department. Dr. Dobbs has also served as an adjunct professor at UMKC, a health educator with the Missouri Department of Health, and a dental consultant with Head Start Programs.
Dr. Dobbs is a member of the American Dental Association and the Missouri Dental Association. She is a past member of the Board of Trustees with the Greater Kansas City Dental Society.
“Like Dr. Widick, I am passionate about the field of dentistry,” says Dr. Dobbs. “I very much look forward to sharing that passion with our patients of all ages, from children to seniors.”
Says Dr. Widick: “I’ve known Dr. Dobbs throughout my dental career, dating back to dental school. She’s an experienced, skilled and personable general dentist with exceptional interpersonal skills. She’ll mesh perfectly with our philosophy of helping families maintain their dental health in a caring, compassionate and friendly environment.”
As we navigate the continuous change brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic, you can be assured that the level of care you have grown to expect from us will be no different. Since our return to providing elective dental procedures in mid-May, we have implemented numerous procedures to protect our team and our patients during the COVID pandemic.
The same friendly faces and helpful staff will be here to greet you, and Dr. Dobbs enhances our ability to meet your dental needs in a timely manner. If you are a patient of Dr. Widick, there is no change to your dental care going forward. If you have been a patient of our associate dentist in the past, you can make an appointment with either Dr. Widick or Dr. Dobbs.
